En Tigre centro, el Refugio Municipal continúa asistiendo a vecinos y vecinas mayores de 18 años en situación de vulnerabilidad social y/o situación de calle. El espacio está ubicado en Enciso 425, entre Solís y Paso, y ofrece alojamiento, comida, diferentes tipos de actividades y acompañamiento psicológico.
El refugio -dependiente de la secretaría de Desarrollo Social y Política de Inclusión del Municipio de Tigre- recibe también a mujeres víctimas de violencia de género y funciona los 365 días del año con el objetivo de mejorar la vida de las personas que asisten.
El establecimiento cuenta con 50 camas -una de exclusiva para mujeres- e incluye desayuno, cena y actividades recreativas, educativas y culturales, como también talleres de oficio, con el objetivo de generar la inserción laboral y el desarrollo profesional. Está disponible de 19 a 07hs.
