Dulce de tomate – Norte News

Ingredientes

  • 1 kilo de tomates perita
  • 600 gramos de azúcar
  • jugo de 1/2 limón
  • 3 frascos de 360 gramos cada uno

Preparación

Paso 1

 

Lavar los tomates. Cortarlos al medio, despepitarlos y luego, cortarlos en trozos.

Paso 2

 

Colocar los tomates junto con el azúcar en una cacerola de fondo grueso. Llevar a fuego lento, hasta que hierva. Mezclar vez en cuando.

Paso 3

 

Una vez que la preparación hierva, cocinar a fuego fuerte 20 minutos. Ir mezclando, de tanto en tanto y agregar el jugo de limón Bajar el fuego a mínimo y seguir cocinando una hora más.

Paso 4

 

Verificar que la confitura esté cocida: dejar caer unas gotitas en un plato frío. Si se fijan las gotas es que está lista, en caso contrario, cocinar un ratito más.  Verter caliente, en los frascos, previamente esterilizados y cerrar inmediatamente.
