La Subsecretaría de Juventudes llevó adelante un festival para celebrar el Día del Amor y de la Amistad. Se realizaron talleres sobre Educación Sexual Integral, diversidad y creación de vínculos sanos, entre otras actividades gratuitas para los jóvenes y las familias merlenses.
Hubo música en vivo, juegos, cabina de fotos y stand de glitter. El objetivo fue fomentar la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI), el cuidado del cuerpo y de la salud, el ejercicio de los derechos de la juventud, el respeto a la diversidad, la garantía a la equidad de género y la valoración de la afectividad.
El Director de la Subsecretaría de Juventudes, Martín Montes de Oca, expresó “en el día del amor y la amistad quisimos hacer algunas intervenciones para reflexionar sobre las distintas formas de vincularse y amar”.
Por su parte, la integrante del área municipal, Paula Ibarbia sostuvo “estas actividades son importantes para deconstruir el amor romántico, para poner en diálogo el amor propio y los vínculos sanos”, al tiempo que manifestó que “la idea es repensar las relaciones que se ejercen con violencia”.
