En el centro «Nunca es Tarde» se contiene y acompaña en la recuperación a víctimas de consumos problemáticos.
La Municipalidad de San Miguel sigue ampliando sus programas de prevención de adicciones. Entre otras acciones, se realizan distintas actividades en el centro “Nunca es Tarde”, que comenzó a funcionar desde el 2021. El sábado, con la presencia del intendente Jaime Méndez, se entregaron diplomas a los egresados del centro.
Además, también se organizan charlas informativas con alumnos de escuelas del distrito, en las que se cuenta el trabajo diario con los jóvenes y familias que concurren al lugar.
Se trata de un espacio que cuenta con un equipo interdisciplinario de especialistas, como psicólogos y trabajadores sociales, entre otros profesionales, que contienen y acompañan en la recuperación a víctimas de adicciones y sus familias.
